Paula is everything you would want in a host and more. Not only is she super responsive and willing to answer all of my questions, but she is also so kind and truly loves what she does. She has turned a beautiful piece of heaven into a lovely wedding venue with beautiful views of the mountains all around you. She also has a beautiful garden right by the barn and a mountaintop view that she personally drove us to after our ceremony (~5min drive) where we took quite a few pictures. She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day went perfect, and that even included allowing our wedding coordinator to cut some of her flowers to place them on our tables when our florist forgot to bring all of our flowers. We had our rehearsal dinner there the night before at the hay barn on property, and it allowed us to enjoy the venue for a few more hours. Highly recommend! Other highlights include a 4 bedroom cabin on property that you can rent, where we chose to have all of my bridesmaids stay in the night before the wedding. They also have a cute honeymoon suite for the night of the wedding to enjoy time with your new husband/wife and it is walking distance from the barn (literally right next door!). We enjoyed this space so much and highly recommend Paula and The Barn on the New River. Our guests had such a great time and continue to rave about how beautiful the property is!

Ryan and I absolutely ADORED this venue. It is absolutely beautiful and Paula was so amazing to us. As soon as I walked into the barn, something told me that it was the right choice. I wouldn’t have changed a thing about this venue and I highly recommend it to anyone searching for their dream wedding location. Also, I highly recommend using Caroline as your coordinator! She made our day run so smoothly and was so considerate of our needs on our day.

The Barn on New River is just the most incredible venue, with the most incredible owner to work with! We planned our NC wedding all the way from Utah, and booked this venue after just a Facetime call with Paula! While it was a little nerve-wracking to have done that, we were able to tour the venue a few months later and were even more blown away getting to see it in real life. The lighting is fantastic, and the groom and bride suites are set up wonderfully for getting ready. The aisle is super long which is perfect for getting great photos. Unfortunately, we wasn’t able to use the dreamy outdoor ceremony setting because it ended up raining all day on our wedding day. Paula was instrumental in making sure that everything was set up inside for the rain plan ceremony of our dreams, and it didn’t disappoint. I’ve had so many friends and family tell me that this is the most magical wedding venue they’ve ever seen and I couldn’t agree more! We were able to comfortably seat 160 guests and have our dance floor and ceremony inside per our rain plan. Thank you so much Barn On New River for an incredible wedding day!
